Capsule description of Job Purpose

Responsible for supplying
after-sales technical support to allocated small scale
farmers & layers customers
(non-contract growers)

Key
Result Area 1: Responsible for coordinating & supplying technical support
to chicks distributors, allocated small scale farmers, layers customers
(non-contract growers)

 

Major
Activities
required
in achieving desired output:

 

1.   
Visits and/or meets with potential customers to ensure
all requirements are met as per Housing Manual & Broiler Production Manual

2.   
Advises potential & existing customers on
equipment & vet products purchase

3.   
Supplies technical support to chicks distributors
monthly and when requested by distributor to ensure they are compliant with
Distributor Manual and set standards

4.   
Ensures chicks Distributors have enough sales
materials to support their sales

5.   
Responds to all customer queries/complaints
immediately and troubleshoots or escalates when needed

6.   
Gathers market intelligence & communicates on
Technical Team platform immediately to report any market knowledge/intelligence

7.   
Follows up on NC issues with customer when needed

8.   
Escalates any issues when unable to solve it to
Zimvet, Superior and any other relevant 3rd parties

9.   
Compiles weekly technical sales report following
template and submits to Chicks Sales Exec

10.
Attends various training, agricultural shows and
conferences to stay up-to-date with current and trending technical knowledge

11.
Provides technical information to internal magazine
quarterly and to social media platforms when requested

12.
Supplies technical support for small scale farmers and
layers customers

Key Result Area 2: Responsible for broiler management,
biosecurity & product knowledge training

 

Major Activities
required in achieving desired output:

 

1.    Assists
in creating training material

2.    Organises
small scale farmers and layers customers training schedule yearly

3.    Sets
up & conducts small scale farmers & layers
customers
training as per schedule

4.    Conducts
ad-hoc site training with small scale farmers and layers customers

5.    Completes
a training report after each training and submits to Chicks Sales Exec in
weekly report

Key Result Area 3: Assists in handling and resolving
customers/distributors complaints

 

Major Activities
required in achieving desired output:

 

1.   
Receives complaints via direct calls, chicks
distributors & through Chicks Sales Admin and communicates with customer
immediately via phone or visit

2.   
Escalates any issue with Superior and/or Zimvet when
unable to resolve it or when further investigation is needed

3.   
Follows up on complaints to ensure corrective action
has been taken

4.   
Follows up on complaints with chicks distributor’s
technical rep to ensure corrective action has been taken

5.   
Compiles complaints summary in weekly report or when
needed
