Our client in South Africa – Northwest/Northam, Thabazimbi is looking for a Security Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the Security industry

Main Duties:

Executing all contractual compliance at the area of responsibility,
Daily visits and liaison with all customers – (Maintain close liaison and interaction with Clients),
Compiling daily, weekly and monthly reports,
Ensure internal audit programs are adhered to,
Monitor risks and initiate actions as and when required, Respond to emergency calls immediately,
Managing the operations according to the Omega Risk Solutions Operational
Policy and Client specific Works Instructions/Procedures,
Ensuring effective operational cost control in area of responsibility,
Responsible and accountable for the effective management of Intelligence, personnel, personnel administration, operations, logistics, finances, discipline and EH&S,
Daily communication with Ops Manager.

Requirements:

Grade 12,

PSIRA Registration – Grade A,
Security industry experience at Management level for at least five, (5) years.
Experience as a Manager in the mining environment will be advantageous.
Well-developed operational and administrative skills,
Good communication skills (both written and oral) in English,
Computer literate,
Financial skills understanding, adjusting and effective control over all assets,
Good people skills,
Organizational ability,
Valid Driver’s License, (at Least Code 08),
Medically Fit = Must pass medical evaluation as prescribed by legislation pertaining to Client’s operation,
Must reside in area of operations or be willing to re-locate,
Must be able to work independently,

NB: Must have Firearm Competency and Must have Handgun & Shotgun competency with Business Purposes.
Must be able to work under pressure.
Must be able to liaise with the community.
