Our Client, a Mauritian fintech company that specializes in providing payment services. They are an international team with over 15 years of experience. Accumulated unique expertise allows management team to implement projects worldwide with high efficiency – They are looking for a dynamic Junior Compliance Analyst who will fit our culture and contribute to the success of the company.

You will work under the supervision of the Head of Compliance Analyst who is responsible to ensure efficient onboarding of International Client.

Specific responsibilities and required skills include but are not limited to:

 

  • Onboarding: assisting in on-boarding of new clients and matters and ensuring that all details are correct in accordance with regulatory standards and the firm’s AML/CFT policies.
  • Due Diligence Verifications: conducting due diligence verifications on new and existing clients, review KYC documentation and undertaking AML and sanctions searches on clients and escalate any issues to the Head of Compliance Analyst.
  • Risk assessment: reviewing any changes to the client information which may have an impact on client or matter risk and dealing with these in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Client information: ensuring that client information is kept accurate and up to date.
  • AML/CFT Policy and Procedures: reviewing the firm’s policies and ensuring that they are up to date and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Any other miscellaneous tasks

 

Qualifications/Skills/Attitude

  • Bachelor Degree Holder in Law and/or Management or Finance or equivalent
  • Certificate in compliance/risk will be an added advantage
  • Self-motivated, highly disciplined and eager to learn new skills and take up challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Discretion and diplomacy.
  • Interpersonal skills and right attitude to work with different people from different cultures.
  • Good oral and written communication skills with fluency in English and French.

Experience

  • 1/2 years of experience in compliance, risk management or regulatory affairs.

Remuneration

 

  • Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
