Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to enhance market share and profitability in the Angolan market.
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects within the scaffolding, rope access, and fabric maintenance industries.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with pivotal clients, industry bodies, and government authorities.
  • Engage in contract negotiations and oversee client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Team Management:

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and empower a proficient team to bolster company operations in Angola.
  • Offer leadership, mentorship, and direction to team members to optimize performance.
  • Ensure team members are adequately equipped with skills and resources to meet their goals.

Operational Management:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations, encompassing project oversight, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
  • Manage financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.

Strategic Planning:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop enduring strategic plans to position the company for growth and success in the Angolan market.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership to align local strategies with overarching company objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the scaffolding, rope access, or fabric maintenance industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and expanding businesses in foreign markets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese is crucial.
  • Experience in industrial and offshore sectors is preferred.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in French and/or Portuguese languages.
  • Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and standards in offshore and local settings.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies.
  • Financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
  • Adaptability to dynamic environments.
  • Extensive offshore experience.

Additional Information:

  • Must possess working rights in Angola (Work permit or Angolan citizenship).
  • Role may require frequent travel within Angola and occasionally to other countries.
