Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial aspects of our company in Madagascar. The CFO will play a crucial role in driving the company’s financial strategy and ensuring strong financial performance. This position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial management, strategy, and regulatory compliance in an international business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, local laws).
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and senior management to support key decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, and risk management activities.
  • Ensure financial controls and procedures are implemented and followed.
  • Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee financial operations, including accounting, tax, and treasury.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure the financial health of the company.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to drive high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACCA, FCCA, or CFA certification.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Prior experience working in an international setting or with multinational companies is an advantage.
