Our client in Ebene is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a solid accounting background and a passion for financial accuracy. Responsibilities:

  • Management and controllership of Group entities as assigned, including:

-Preparation of the monthly entity Management Accounts for Senior Management with relevant analysis and commentary.

-Analytical reviews, transaction analysis, balance sheet substantiation, revenue, and cost analysis

-Managing filing and reporting obligations such as Tax and statutory reporting

  • Coordinate and manage key internal projects, i.e., define project scope and objectives, develop detailed project plan, coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results etc.
  • Manage the Alpari month end process to ensure accurate books and records. Perform month-end close activities, including preparation of journals and reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Ensure timely closure of books and records each month, working closely with Russian accounting team.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices for managing our accounting records and reporting deadlines.
  • Monitor, update and implement Group policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with external auditors for the completion of the annual audits of the Groups’ Companies
  • Stay up to date with accounting standards, tax laws and other financial regulations to ensure full compliance.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Head of department and Group Financial Controller as and when required.
  • Contributing towards team efforts by accomplishing related goals.
  • Any other duties that the Employer may reasonably request from the Employee from time to time.
  • Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training.
  • When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair, and consistent high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of the group
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
  • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience within the field of accounting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and across functions.
  • Excellent communication skills and command of the English and Russian language.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience, within an FCA regulated environment would be considered as privilege.
  • Certifications, technical knowledge.
  • SAP4HANA experience
  • Working experience within a Brokerage environment is a plus.
