- Executing all contractual compliance at the area of responsibility
- The control room manager will be overall responsible and accountable in the following criteria:
- Security technology functionality,
- Reporting of problematic technology to the IT department;
- Training and overseeing the functions and performance of control room personnel, familiarising him/herself with the various software applications of Huawei, investigations and maintaining the chain of evidence.
- Compiling of electronic investigation reports on a daily basis.
- Analyse evidence captured during investigations and provide professional feedback to clients.
- Overseeing all site operational statistic reports capturing
- Responsible to participate in presentations of Huawei’s security technology from time to time
- Also ensure all reports, as required and changed from time to time, are accurate and submitted timeously
- Daily visits and liaison with customers
- Compiling weekly and monthly reports timeously.
- Ensure internal audit programs are adhered to
- Monitor risks and initiate actions as and when required
- Respond to emergency calls immediately
- Oversee and training of control room personnel with regard to emergencies drills as per SOP
- Managing the operations according to the companies Operational Policy and client specific Works Instructions/Procedures
- Ensuring effective operational cost control in area of responsibility
- Responsible and accountable for the effective management of Intelligence, personnel, personnel administration, operations, logistics, finances, discipline and EH&S
- Maintain close liaison and interaction with Client
Minimum Criteria
- NQF5 or above/diploma
- Fluent in English.
- 5 Years’ experience in security industry and 3 years control room management.
- Computer skills (various IT related software of site, Microsoft office).
- Investigative skills, report writing and presentation skills (talking in front of corporate Clientele).
- PSIRA Registration – Grade A
- Well-developed operational and administrative skills
- Good communication skills (both written and oral) in English,
- Computer literate,
- Financial skills developed of understanding, adjusting and effective control over all assets,
- Previous experience in a business park environment
- Good people skills
- Organizational ability
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must reside in area of operations or be willing to re-locate
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to work under pressure
