Our client, with resort operations in Lusaka, is looking for an experienced Conference and Banqueting Manager to join their team based in Lusaka. He/she would report directly to the Resort Food and Beverage Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain hotel standards to the highest standards.
  • Manage multiple conference facilities sometimes, simultaneously.
  • Maintain and manage conference equipment.
  • Manage large number of staff.
  • Liaise with and manage 3rd party contractors where necessary.
  • Manage budgets.
  • Reporting
  • Liaising with other departments.

Requirements

  • Hospitality qualification
  • More than 15 years’ experience in Conference and Banqueting operations. Preference will be given to individuals who have demonstrated experience working in 4 – 5 star operations.
  • Budget generation and management
  • Staff management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
