MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / KPA’S SALES

  • Business development of new clients
  • Cold canvassing in designated areas
  • Liaising with new and existing clients
  • Providing after sales services to new and existing clients
  • Sales presentations to clients
  • Cultivate spares sales with new and existing customers
  • Building relationships with existing clients
  • Weekly sales report
  • Prepare quotations when required
  • Provide customers with technical solutions
  • Assist customers with process simulation using BRUNO

TECHNICAL

  • Commissioning of new equipment when required
  • Minor repairs on existing equipment where possible
  • Ongoing assessment of existing machines and report back to customer
  • Quotations according to the set standard to potential and existing clients

FINANCIAL/BUDGET

  • Sales Targets
  • Sales Budgets

INTERNAL PROCESSES/POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

  • Adhere to all process, policies and procedures in line with ISO requirements
  • Adhere to all processes, policies and procedures relevant to the company and your department
  • Detailed knowledge of processes, policies and procedures.
  • Follow-through and complete all corrective actions relating to processes, policies and procedures

PROBLEM SOLVING

  • 100% of all problems to be resolved effectively, pushing upwards every 24 hours, if required to reach resolution
  • Always present solutions rather than problems
  • Implement preventative action to ensure a problem does not occur again
  • Obtain information from other parties by being resourceful to assist in answering a problem before asking your manager

REPORTING

  • Compilation of all ad-hoc reports as requested
  • Compilation of all daily, weekly and monthly statistical information relating to the ambit of your job profile
  • Daily activity reporting on CANVAS

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years in a relevant technical field
  • Previous experience in sales, business development
  • Commercial and financial understanding
  • Computer literate, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project and other systems
