Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead their HR department in Rwanda. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for people management, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the client’s business objectives.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning to onboarding, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and productivity.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to local labor laws and company policies, mitigating risk and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal systems to track and enhance employee contributions.
  • Training and Development: Identify skills gaps and organize training programs to build capabilities within the workforce.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Manage employee compensation and benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local standards.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address employee concerns and mediate workplace conflicts, maintaining harmony within teams.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: At least 5 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in a multinational or large-scale organization.
  • Language: Proficiency in French and English is essential.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of Madagascar labor laws and HR compliance.
    • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage change.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in HR management systems and tools.
