Overview

One of the world’s leading filling and packaging manufacturers (beverage and packaging) is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to join their team overlooking the Business Center (BC) Central Africa. The successful candidate will be tasked with increasing the turnover from the company’s portfolio of clients with an emphasis on developing and identifying new customer and business opportunities within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the growth of new machines business (including budget responsibilities)
  • Define and implement action plans and adapting the sales strategy to his/her area.
  • Prepare and finalize the commercial offers, adapted to customers specification while proposing additional services when possible.
  • Maintain and expand customer base.
  • Provide forecasts and reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collect and analyze market and competitor information.
  • Working with sales tools

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Project Management or MBA would be advantageous.
  • Technical background in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering is advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Professional Proficiency in English and French, German advantageous.
  • Knowledge of products and technologies in the beverage and packaging industries
  • Knowledge and use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Highly customer-oriented
  • Profound verbal and written business communication skills
  • Excellent negotiations skills
  • Strong “Can do” attitude with a strong willingness to work within a team
  • Willingness to travel frequently
