Our client in Pemba is looking for an Aircraft Pilot to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge of aviation sector and a proven track record in the relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-flight inspections of aircraft and equipment.
  • Develop and file flight plans with air traffic control.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust flight plans as necessary.
  • Operate aircraft according to established flight procedures.
  • Communicate with air traffic control to ensure safe takeoffs, flights, and landings.
  • Collaborate with co-pilots and cabin crew to ensure efficient operation.
  • Perform post-flight inspections and document any required maintenance.
  • Inspect and operate specialized equipment, such as navigation systems and radar.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation, aeronautics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1,500 flight hours for airline transport pilot (ATP) license.
  • Commercial Pilot’s License (CPL) from an accredited aviation school.
  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification or equivalent.
  • Certified flight instructor (CFI) credentials.
  • Medical certification confirming fitness to fly.
  • Advanced training in aviation or aeronautics.
  • Completion of required flight training programs and simulators.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages for international flights.
  • Strong physical and mental stamina.
  • Knowledge of global flight routes and air traffic control procedures.
  • Experience in flying different types and sizes of aircraft.
