Our client in Maputo is looking for a HR/Legal Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the FMCG industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Staff contracts
  • Provide legal guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Submission of statutory returns.
  • Control over time keeping and leave records.
  • Ensuring compliance with all labour statutes.
  • Ensuring compliance of health statutes.
  • Responsible/assist in all legal formalities:
  • Company statutory documents (certidao, Alvaras, licences …etc)
  • Assistance in preparation of Actas and other legal documentation

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing employment litigation.
  • Must a solid experience, minimum of 5 years in HR and legal matters as required in Mozambique.
  • English is not essential but solid references will be required and appointee must be a Mozambique citizen.
