Our client in Maputo is looking for a HR/Legal Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the FMCG industry.

Responsibilities:
- Staff contracts
- Provide legal guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Submission of statutory returns.
- Control over time keeping and leave records.
- Ensuring compliance with all labour statutes.
- Ensuring compliance of health statutes.
- Responsible/assist in all legal formalities:
- Company statutory documents (certidao, Alvaras, licences …etc)
- Assistance in preparation of Actas and other legal documentation
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in managing employment litigation.
- Must a solid experience, minimum of 5 years in HR and legal matters as required in Mozambique.
- English is not essential but solid references will be required and appointee must be a Mozambique citizen.
