Our client in Harare is looking for Branch Managers to join their team within the retail industry around Zimbabwe:
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing and motivating teams to increase sales
- Overseeing recruitment and training of staff
- Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales
- Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning
- Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development.
- Ensuring quality standards are met
- Attending and chairing meetings
- Ensuring customer service standards are met
- Dealing with queries, complaints, and feedback from customers
- Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
- Keeping track of stock and ordering through computerized systems
- Controlling budgets and costs
- Ensuring standards for health and safety are met
- Resolving health and safety, legal and security issues
- Maintaining awareness of market trends and monitoring what competitors are doing

- The ability to lead and motivate a team

- The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations

- Decision-making ability and sense of responsibility
- The ability to understand and analyse sales figures

Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of Sales and Marketing Management within the retail industry
- Degree in Retail, Sales and Marketing/ Business Studies or related discipline
