Our client in Harare is looking for Branch Managers to join their team within the retail industry around Zimbabwe:

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing and motivating teams to increase sales
  • Overseeing recruitment and training of staff
  • Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales
  • Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning
  • Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development.
  • Ensuring quality standards are met
  • Attending and chairing meetings
  • Ensuring customer service standards are met
  • Dealing with queries, complaints, and feedback from customers
  • Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
  • Keeping track of stock and ordering through computerized systems
  • Controlling budgets and costs
  • Ensuring standards for health and safety are met
  • Resolving health and safety, legal and security issues
  • Maintaining awareness of market trends and monitoring what competitors are doing

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of Sales and Marketing Management within the retail industry
  • Degree in Retail, Sales and Marketing/ Business Studies or related discipline
