About
This is a property holding company and is part of a larger group. We manage, operate and develop properties in use by the group, as well as a small portfolio of other property assets. Our goal is to grow and build our income-producing property portfolio.

Job Objective

  • Ensure 100% on standard house-keeping in all accounting and related administrative responsibilities.
  • Work with MD to drive RS profitability and cashflow with relevant bank financing, analysis, cost control, legal hygiene, project development and operational support where appropriate.
  • Administrative support for group MD as necessary.

Responsibilities

Property Management:

  • Maintain all leases
  • Monitor market pricing and drive lease pricing
  • Plan and execute required building maintenance
  • Marketing and signing up new tenants as necessary

Development:

  • Plan & execute new building projects
  • Work on acquisitions and disposals as necessary

Accounting:

  • Monthly management accounts with toolkit files
  • Preparation of budgets
  • Maintaining long-term cashflows
  • Preparing and coordinating annual audit

Cash Management:

  • Various cash accounts currently controlled by PN G&P, UEM
  • Planning and execution of cash managers
  • Execution of all payments

Financing:

  • Assistance with interactions with banks to secure funding
  • Preparation of cashflows and budgets required to obtain funding
  • Maintain relationships with account managers

Tax:

  • Routine VAT and corporate tax filings
  • Tax planning and management to optimize taxes paid

Co Secretarial:

  • All group entities covered
  • Responsible for safeguarding all company documents, ensuring their security, and regulating access to them in their presence.

Statutory:

  • All entities covered
  • Maintain compliance with all other statutory obligations

Administrative:

  • Preparing and maintaining all relevant legal agreements
  • Maintain and keep up to date all group KYC information
  • Local support for G&P and UEM as needed
  • Assistance to Group MD as needed

Other:

  • Any other duties that may be assigned as appropriate

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related space
  • Business or Finance Degree
  • Accounting experience at least to trial balance
  • Brains, integrity and high agency
