We are looking for a Head Designer to lead our irrigation design team and oversee the development of high-quality irrigation projects and schemes. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the irrigation design team, ensuring efficient project execution.
- Develop and optimize irrigation designs tailored to various agricultural needs.
- Utilize industry-standard design software to create effective and sustainable irrigation systems.
- Collaborate closely with farmers to understand their requirements and provide customized solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the design team.
- Stay up to date with emerging irrigation technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in irrigation system design and management.
- Proficiency in irrigation design software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of agricultural water management and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Degree or certification in Agricultural Engineering, Water Management, or a related field is preferred.
