Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop strong relationships with suppliers, particularly in China and other Asian markets.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.

  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.

Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination

  • Oversee the import process, including customs clearance, shipping documentation, and compliance.

  • Work closely with logistics partners to ensure efficient delivery timelines and minimize costs.

  • Monitor global market trends to anticipate price fluctuations and mitigate risks.

Cost Optimization & Quality Control

  • Ensure competitive pricing and high-quality standards for procured goods.

  • Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining supplier relationships.

  • Conduct regular supplier audits to maintain compliance with company standards.

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Ensure adherence to import/export regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to pricing, quality, and delivery.

Key Requirements

✔ 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or sourcing, with a strong focus on Chinese trade.
✔ Fluency in Mandarin (highly preferred) to communicate directly with Chinese suppliers.
✔ Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, logistics, and international trade laws.
✔ Excellent negotiation and contract management skills to secure the best terms with suppliers.
✔ Experience in cost control, budgeting, and supplier quality management.
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
✔ Ability to travel frequently to China and other sourcing destinations when required.
