PURPOSE
- To generate profitable sales and growth.
- To ensure customer compliance to agreed payment terms.
- To recruit net new partners and develop the existing partner base.
- To generate partner loyalty.
- To execute on our commitments to the Vendor, guaranteeing contractual continuity.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Be an advocate for and ensure adherence to Group standard policies & procedures.
- Ensure the conditions for the optimal time to market of resources and technology.
- Provide quarterly feedback to management on market, partner, category, and vendor specifics.
- Quarterly partner landscape reviews and take appropriate action following each review.
- Actions plans for fulfilment and incremental revenue streams.
- Initiate and complete Joint Business Planning sessions with strategic partners.
- Proactively assess partner needs.
- Ensure the quality of and timely responsiveness to partner requirements.
- Ensure partner compliance with vendor agreements.
- Drive adoption of company programs by the intended partners.
- Deliver high quality implementation of strategies and plans.
- Collect and document knowledge about competitor’s value propositions.
- Regular review of sales performance and market share.
- Tracking of achievements versus targets.
- Analyze competitive landscape to inform business strategies and action plans.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel.
- Act as the pivot during the sales process.
- Drive profitable revenue growth through effective partner management, partner loyalty, and vendor alignment.
DELIVERABLES
- Real time maintenance of pipelines and forecasting.
- Clean bookings and profitable sales, against targets.
- Successful vendors deal registrations.
- Vendor sales certifications.
- Partner visits and activities.
- Availability, responsiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Attendance, participation of vendor activities.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Market share.
- Vendors’ milestones achieved.
- Business rebates.
- Gross profit.
- Successful vendors deal registrations.
- Leads generated.
- Successfully converted Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL’s)
OTHER
- Business travel to other countries, Group Entity’s, Group Hubs, Group Headquarters, and to vendors from time to time.
- Working to an approved budget, all business-related expenses will be covered by the Entity.
- Benefits negotiable and aligned with local norms.
- Job progression to Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager.
EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- University Degree.
- Relevant vendor certifications, no older than three years.
- Three years’ experience in either a partner or distributor of relevant vendor goods and services.
- Core Competencies: negotiation, relationship-building, product knowledge.
