Purpose

  • To provide ‘best price’ quotations to our partners, using quoting tools and deal registration processes
  • To ensure technical relevance and excellence on behalf of the organization.
  • To be a trusted advisor to colleagues and external partners.
  • To monitor, report and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • To execute on our commitments to the vendor, guaranteeing contractual continuity.
  • Role description
  • Be an advocate for and ensure adherence to Group standard policies & procedures.
  • Ensure the conditions for the optimal time to market of resources and technology.
  • Provide quarterly feedback to management on market, partner, category, and vendor specifics.
  • Quarterly partner landscape reviews and take appropriate action following each review.
  • Deliver high quality implementation of strategies and plans.
  • Ensure personal capability for effectively conducting presales activities.
  • Generate an optimal solution design with complete technical explanation based on partner requirements.
  • Create bill of materials of the proposed solution efficiently and accurately.
  • Collect and document knowledge about competitors and competitive products and solutions.
  • Ensure channel compliance with vendor certification requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate Group compliance with vendor business processes.
  • Analyze competitive landscape to inform business strategies and action plans.
  • Develop value-based relationships with vendors, partners, and end customers.
  • Design value-driven, technically robust solutions aligned with partner needs, with full supporting documentation.
  • To attain trusted adviser status.

DELIVERABLES

  • Real time maintenance of pipelines and forecasting.
  • Clean bookings.
  • Profitable sales, against targets.
  • Successful vendors deal registrations.
  • Vendor sales certifications.
  • Partner visits and activities.
  • Availability, responsiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Attendance, participation of vendor activities.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Quotes, efficiency and accuracy.
  • Customer support and experience.
  • Successful vendors deal registrations.
  • Presentations, demonstrations, POC, POV, and partner experiences.
  • Certifications, personal and partners.
  • Lead progression.

OTHER

  • Business travel to other countries, Group Entity’s, Group Hubs, Group Headquarters, and to vendors from time to time.
  • Working to an approved budget, all business-related expenses will be covered by the Entity.
  • Benefits negotiable and aligned with local norms.
  • Job progression to Product Manager or Business Development Manager.

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree.
  • Relevant OEM certifications, no older than three years.
  • Three years’ experience in either a reseller or distributor of relevant OEM goods and services.
  • Required technical skills: quoting tools, solution design platforms, vendor knowledge.
