Our client in the gaming industry in Kenya is recruiting for a Customer Service Lead. The position will be based in Nairobi, and open to Kenyan nationals. The role entails establishing and managing a proficient customer support team within the context of a betting environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the establishment and management of the customer support team in a betting environment.
  • Develop and implement support strategies for betting services, including high-volume event handling.
  • Train and mentor the team on betting products, industry regulations, and customer service excellence.
  • Collaborate with IT to implement and optimize call center technology and systems.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Professional certification in customer service or call centre management, or bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in setting up and/or leading a customer support or call centre team.
  • Strong understanding of call centre technology and CRM systems.
  • Expertise in betting products and industry-specific customer service challenges.
  • Leadership skills with a focus on team development and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and mentor a finance team.
  • Familiarity with financial software and advanced Excel skills.
