Our multinational client in the agriculture industry is recruiting for a Compliance & Investigation Officer for their East Africa operations. The role will be based in Nairobi, Kenya, but the ideal candidate will be expected to travel to the organization’s offices throughout East Africa. The ideal candidate should also have a background in finance and be very detail oriented. You will be responsible for conducting internal audits, investigating compliance breaches or suspected fraud, and recommending improvements to business processes and systems – especially in a cross-border distribution and logistics context. A strong understanding of financial controls and operational risk is a must.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFE, CIA, CPA) strongly preferred.
- 3–5+ years in internal audit, compliance, or investigation roles within a multinational or logistics-focused company.
- Strong understanding of cross-border trade compliance, financial controls, and operational risk.
- Willingness to travel to company operations in different countries
- Strong investigative, analytical, and auditing skills.
