Head of Quality Control

Our client in Harare is looking for a Head of Quality Control to join their team for a job vacancy within the manufacturing industry. An individual who is passionate about brewing and quality, dedicated to ensuring all products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality control process from raw materials to finished product.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols for brewing, fermentation, and packaging.
  • Conduct regular sensory evaluations and lab tests to maintain product consistency.
  • Collaborate with brewing and production teams to troubleshoot quality issues.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Brewing Science, or related field. Masters degree and various food certifications are an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality control or assurance in the brewing industry.
  • Strong understanding of brewing processes and microbiology.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for craft beer and commitment to quality.
